Make a free account
ND Code is free. A grown-up makes the account, adds the kids, and prints their login cards. Kids log in with a class code and a picture or word secret.
Are you a kid?
You don't sign up yourself. Ask your teacher or a grown-up at home to make your account. It's free, and it takes them about a minute. They'll give you a class code.
Grown-ups: who's setting this up?
I'm a teacher
For a class at a school. Your school's permission covers your students, so you can start right away.
I'm a parent or guardian
For your own kids at home. We email you a short notice about what we collect, and you say yes first.
I run a program
Tutors, clubs, camps and libraries. We email each child's parent and ask for consent before that child can log in.

What we ask for
- From grown-ups: your name, email and a password, or your Google account instead. We also ask the year you were born, to check you're an adult, and then we forget it.
- For kids: only the name you type (a first name and last initial works), a login secret we make, and their work in the lab.
- Never: a kid's email, birthday, photo, voice or location. No ads, no trackers, and nothing is ever sold.
The privacy notice has every detail in plain words.
