Terms of use

Effective October 29, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Andi Lata, the independent developer who makes and runs ND Code. "We" and "us" mean Andi Lata. If you make a grown-up account, you agree to these terms for yourself and for the kids you add.

Who can use ND Code

What you promise when you add kids

Keeping accounts safe

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload, scrape or get around the site's security. Don't access accounts that aren't yours. Don't use ND Code to collect information about kids, or for anything unlawful. We may pause or delete accounts that break these rules or put kids at risk. If we do, we'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety says not to.

Your work

Code that kids and grown-ups write stays theirs. You let us store and show it only so the lab can work, for example to show a child's code and progress to their grown-up. Our privacy notice explains exactly what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

Our work

The ND Code site, lab, levels and artwork belong to Andi Lata. You can use them for teaching and learning, including printing login cards and family letters. Please don't copy the site or sell it.

It's free, and it's provided as is

ND Code is free. We work hard to keep it running, accurate and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a big change that affects grown-ups or kids, we'll tell account holders first.

To the extent the law allows, ND Code is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and Andi Lata isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of more than $100, from using it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. That deletes your classes and every child's account in them right away. Accounts with no login for a long time are deleted automatically, as the privacy notice explains.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes, we'll email account holders before they take effect. Using ND Code after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and of the United States. If there's a dispute, we'll first try to sort it out by talking it through. Write to andilata04@gmail.com.
